To be a church that is relevant to its community and members by fostering an atmosphere of:

• Praise and worship to God;
• Spiritual growth through the preaching and teaching of God’s Word; and
• Personal growth through ministries that meet social, physical, economic, and emotional needs.

CrossWork was birthed to minister to the whole person through the life and gospel of Jesus Christ. A study of Jesus’ ministry reveals that His evangelism was not confined to teaching and preaching in the synagogue, but it reached people on the streets, in their homes, and in the fields. In short, He met their needs.

We believe that in meeting people’s needs, the church can do its most effective evangelism. It requires looking beyond the confines of the church walls and reaching people where they are.

We take to heart the divine directive that Christ issued before His ascension, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV). It is upon this directive that CrossWork was founded.
